Beta Generals: la semaine prochaine!? |

Après 1 semaine de retard, visiblement, la machine est lancée et les CD contenant la beta de Generals devraient partir en début de semaine prochaine. Du moins si l'on en croit la news hilarante postée par Shanahan à ce sujet sur le forum officiel Generals:
"Murder in the Pacific"
....It was a dark rainy day; I had just finished with my latest post on the message board and figured I'd check on the status of the GMTP. I eagerly skipped down the hallway knocked on the first programmer’s door "Trick or Treat?" I asked hoping, he would give me a disc to send off. To my horror he just looked at me, all glassy eyed and said, "You've got three seconds to get out the doorway before I hack you into pieces with a dull rusty hand axe"....being the smart individual I am, I quickly closed the door and ran down the hall to the next programmers door. This time I put my ear to the door and listened carefully, I could hear the screams of agony as the poor code monkey struggled to find a missing null pointer in his sub-routine. Eeek! Things weren't looking so good, so I figured I would head back to my office.
I rounded the corner and was met by a group of the most hideous creatures I had ever seen! Plaid short sleeve shirts, pocket protectors, HUGE wire rimmed glasses with mounds of tape in the middle, and pimples covering their entire faces!!!...OMG....Generals multiplayer testers!!!..I turned and ran hoping to reach the exit before they surrounded me, their voices hissed the words "WE WANT OUR DISSSSSCSSSS". I tripped on the carpet and they descended on me like the last piece of cheesecake at a Jenny Craig reunion.
I screamed ...”WAIT...WAIT...I have some news!!!" but still they hissed, "DISSSSSSSCSSSS....DISSSSSSCSSSSS". I screamed at the top of my lungs "IT LOOKS LIKE WE WILL BE SENDING THEM OUT EARLY NEXT WEEK!!! and then everything went black.....I woke up hours later slumped in my office chair and thought "Whew...what a dream, I have been working way too hard, what a nightmare!" I grabbed my mouse to check the message boards and there it was sitting on the edge of the desk.....a pocket protector and a pair of huge wire rimmed glasses...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
